History Tours are guided tours around Copenhagen with a true historian. Each tour focuses on a particular period, and during the walks you will be taken into the life of the city in that period. 

Historian Christian Holm Donatzky will tell about the look of the city and the people of city. You will hear about the role of the places and buildings in the history of Copenhagen and Scandinavia.

The guide will fill you in on the historical, political, and cultural events that shaped the Danish capital city.

Saturdays at 10:00 from Højbro Plads:
April-May: The period 1400-1600 - Reformed Copenhagen
June-July: The period 1600-1800 - King's Copenhagen
Aug.-Sep: The period 1800-2013 - Kierkegaard's Copenhagen

Tours in English every Saturday at 10:00. Meet up at Højbro Plads. Booking is not necessary on the Saturday tours, but it is possible to book private tours and events all year round.
