Holme Stream
Holme Stream is ideal for fly fishermen
Holme Stream is a small stream, which is home to grayling and brown trout. The stream is a popular haven for fly fishermen as both dry fly fishing and nymph fishing can be practised due to the abundant insect life along the stream.
The fish water, with the exception of a few parcels, stretches from Tofterup to the stream estuary in Karlsgårde channel. There is only signposted, where fishing is prohibited.
If you want to fish in Holme Stream, you need a local fishing card besides the compulsory fishing license. This can be purchased online via Grindsted Sports Fishing Association at www.fiskekortvest.dk.
The compulsory fishing license can be purchased at www.fisketegn.dk, at the post office at the supermarket, SuperBrugsen, in Billund or at the shop McNab Hunting and Fishing, Trehøjevej 31, 7200 Grindsted, tel +45 7532 0622.
