The old smitty in Village Jordhöj in the outskirts of market town Slangerup dates its history back to time of the Medieval.

Today the smitty is complete with forge, tools etc. and a living museum, when the blacksmith is on work.

Be your own black-smith and rent the old smitty for Euro 8,70 per hour. Visits and reservations for use of the old smitty can be booked via the Tourist Office.

The living house attached to the old smitty dates also its history back to time of the Medieval, but as the living house is the private home the blacksmith and his family, access is quite restricted.
