Levring Kirke

There are three half arches at the entry in the tower of the church, which is late gothic and built in approx. 1500.

The font is made of granite with fine depictions of lions, lambs and fruit and comes from Southern Germany (1550-1575). The font still has the initials BR and AR and the coats of arms for Rantzau and Rumohr.

The north wall of the church is richly decorated to the memory of the priest Adam Levin Hammer, who died in 1736 and his son.

The bell is dated 1474 with a pilgrimage inscription and the altarpiece from 1743 has been newly restored. The Antependium is modern and was designed by Ester Bové Reintoft.

Saturday is the church open by appointment and sunday open in connection to the service.
