The nature school by the Maribo Lakes. 

The nature school is founded with the purpose to improve the possibilities of teaching biology, to effect the nature and cultural values of the sanctuary The Maribo Lakes and to see to the public’s easier access to the southern side of Sønder Lake. 

The target group of the teaching is first of all children in the basic school, then children in the nursery school, youth education and finally adult education. Other groups are welcome to make use of the offers of the nature school, but only according to agreement. 

There are 3 shelters on the ground.
