In only three years the Powerade Copenhagen Half Marathon has expanded to triple its size, and with a 2012 record of 9,000 entrants the race is in a fair way to becoming Denmark's biggest half marathon.

Unique city race course

Powerade Copenhagen Half Marathon is the only half marathon in the capital's city center. From the start and finish area on Øster Allé, the runners will be heading towards the city center, alongside the harbor front passing highlights such as Langelinie, The Little Mermaid, The Royal Residence, The Opera and Nyhavn. Along the entire route there are several hot spots with music and entertainment for runners and spectators alike.
