Public guided tours at the Viking Ship Museum
Learn about the vikings, their ships and their cruises at the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde. The museum offers public guided tours every day during the summer season and selected holidays in Danish and English.
The guided tours are free to visitors of the museum. They take about 45 minutes and cannot be booked in advance.
The guided tours are conducted by history and archaeology students. Their stories give life to the wrecks and put the discovery of the five Skuldelev ships into perspective in relation to the maritime culture of the Viking Age.
