The Art Museum is filled with exciting art for every taste. The museum contains a large number of works by some of the major figures of Danish art over the last 200 years.  Some of the 19th century artists, such as L. A. Ring, Theodor Philipsen, Vilhelm Hammershøj and others are particularly well represented.
 
The same applies to major names from 20th century art, including Vilhelm Lundstrøm, Sven Dalsgaard, Wilhelm Freddie, Asger Jorn and many others. Sven Dalsgaard, a lifelong native of Randers, is represented by over 1000 works alone.
