The restaurant is situated right in the middle of the great suburban forest, "Hareskoven", North of the Copenhagen City Centre.

If it's the restaurant, which is attached to the brewery "Skovlyst" or it's the the brewery, which is attached to the restaurant, that's up to the visitores to experience.  

The restaurant dates back to 1893, when it was founded as a family restaurant for visitors to the great forest. Today's restaurant is still very much family minded with good outdoor facilities available for adults and children.
