The dock at Aalborghus Castle welcomes you to Aalborg
If you visit Aalborg from the waterside, and you ship docks just outside the Castle then you get the real royal welcome, because at this particular dock “Honnørlajen” the Royal Yacht always docks when visiting Aalborg.

Honnørkajen has in the recent years undergone a big renovation and a renewal. It is now a public space and its big attraction is the big water staircase that continues out in the Limfjord. Honørkajen is yet again combining Aalborghus Castle with the rest of the waterfront, and ones' again it is Aalborghus castle that greets the visitors from the sea.
