In Ravning Enge, you will find a reconstruction of two pier heads from the mighty bridge established by Harald Bluetooth across Vejle river valley in the year 979. The bridge was 760 ms long and 5.5 ms wide and the carrying capacity was five to six tons. The bridge was built of approx. 1,700 carrying posts, 800 struts and timber for the roadway.  

In the former station building from the Vejle-Vandel railway is an exhibition describing the bridge, findings and excavations. Let your imagination build a bridge over 1,000 years.
