Originally a Romanesque church made of granite ashlars. Built towards the end of the 10th century. Even then the church was richly decorated with frescoes, a printed drapery and above this there were biblical scenes which, however, are lost. From 1984-86 the church underwent an incredibly comprehensive restora- tion.
