The bell tower is from the late Gothic period, with a very rare roof (the old roof stones are reused when the towar was renovated around year 2000.

The altarpiece is from 1589 and can be opened and closed. A suire Mandrup Parsberg had the altarpiece made for the Houlbjerg church near Langå.

It is said thet the nave, the chancel and the apsis of the church are built in circles that cuts into each other. By using a stick and a piece of line circles were drawn and by doing that the builder have made a very harmonic building.
