This church without a tower consist of a Romanesque granite ashlar chancel and a late Romanesque nave, which is built of split fieldstones, mediaeval large bricks and granite ashlar - corners in particular.
The porch is built in modern style. The church has not always been without a tower. A tower was built in the late Romanesque period, but it is uncertain, when it was pulled down. The church bell hangs in a bell frame at the east gable end.
Modern ceramic altar ornamentation created by ceramic artist Gerd Hjort Petersen.
The pulpit, with Ionic columns, dates back to 1608, while the ornamenting possibly dates back to 1696.
