Nyvangs fiskesøer - Put & Take

The angling lakes are laid out in a low-lying area with natural springs at the bottom of the lakes, making the water clear. Care has been taken not to spoil the area by any unsightly buildings or shelters. Three pavilions, each 25 m2, have been established so as to blend with the landscape. There are fixed grills at the pavilions as well as rubbish bins. In addition, there are tables and benches at various points round the lakes. There are two lakes, each 5,500 m2, with a max. depth of 4 metres. Tents may be erected round the lakes, as simple camping. Autocampers and caravans must be left at the parking area, which has a view of the lakes. The first lake was established in 2003 and opened in September 2004.

The fauna in the lakes is excellent, and is cleaned up whenever necessary. Facilities include a toilet and a covered cleaning table. There is a tap with drinking water. At the payment point there is also a room with tables and benches that can cater for about 30 people. The address is Nyvangs Fiskesøer, Snarupvejen 15, Espe, 5750 Ringe. Situated about 30 km from Odense and about 20 km from Svendborg. The distance from Egeskov Castle is about 5 km.

Prices as arranged for large-scale events. There is no catch limit, as fish are put out when required – in some cases, fish up to 8 kg. The commonest varieties of trout are all put out, although most of these are rainbow trout.
