Poulstrup Sø (Poulstrup Lake) and Dall Hede (Dall Moor) is a beautiful nature area with, lakes, bogs, pasture, forest and thicket. Poulstrup Sø lays beautiful between the hills.
Marked walking tracks make it easy to find your way around in the area. There are also marked tracks for mountain bike and horse riding.
The area is filled with different nature types which is why there is such a rich and varied animal life. Many bird species breeds by the lakes and in the forest. You also have a good chance to see a lizard and adders, sunbathing on the cliffs.
During 2. world war, the Germans used the area for military exercise for combat vehicles and therefore destroyed much of the area. After the war, Aalborg Municipality bought the area and it was quickly visited again.
Poulstrup Sø is one of the municipality’s”free fishing places”.
