Søren Kierkegaard and the Danish Golden Age
In 2013 the world-famous philosopher Søren Kierkegaard rounds 200 years. Soren Kierkegaard was one of the ones that made the first half of 1800 to a golden age of Danish literature, art, science and philosophy. The National History Museum provides its golden age living rooms to Soren Kierkegaard available. With quotes the philosopher comments portraits of today's central figures, and the museum's collection of Copenhagen prospectuses also get his comments on the road. The many who had an opinion about Kierkegaard, will also speak.
The artists Mathilde Fenger and Simone Aaberg Kærn have each created series of paintings and drawings based on the experiences they have had together with Danish soldiers on missions and in war. Their works are known bataljekunst, and the Museum of National History at Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød has invited them inside under the headline WAR IN ART.
