Søren Kierkegaard: objects of love, works of love
The Museum of Copenhagen is exhibiting some of Søren Kierkegaard’s few surviving personal possessions to mark the 200th anniversary of the philosopher’s birth.
These possesions from Kierkegaard’s life represent different aspects of the philosopher's conception of love that influenced his work.
With the exhibition the museum wishes to open a debate about the conception of love in the 21st century. Therefore the Museum of Copenhagen encourages Copenhageners to contribute with their own possesions that signifies love in their lives.
