Thorvaldsens Plads Antikmarked
Thorvaldsens Plads Antique Market is one of the more exclusive fleamarkets, and one of the most popular ones in the city.
The setting of the antique market is truly idyllic and this is where you go shopping for quality antiques such as Royal Copenhagen, silver, crystals, and rare curios.
You can also sip your coffee whilst taking in the magnificent view of Christiansborg Palace, Thorvaldsen's Museum and the Palace Church.
Not a market for bargains
The market stalls are owned by professional antiques dealers. The market is slightly more expensive than other flea markets, so do not expect great bargains. You may find everything from silver cutlery and crystal to finely fluted frames.
It is not a particularly large market, but it is beautifully located down by the old canal in the centre of Copenhagen. If you do not find anything of interest, you can always enjoy a drink or a meal at one of the cafes, like Café Diamanten or Café Kunstforeningen.
The market is outdoors and free to visit.
