The German Stone in Rebild National Park.
"Ein Denkmal" (a memorial). The lokals call it the German Stone. It was condemned to eternal oblivion and flung from a steep hillside in the Rebild hills, where it landed in a remote ravine, shortly after the liberation of Denmark 5th May 1945. A few years ago the stone resurfaced like some sort of ghost. By its inscription the stone brought attention to its role in Danish history:
"Zum Andenken Flug-Wache Rebild 1940" (In memory of A.R.P. post Rebild 1940)
