Læderstræde is hidden between the main pedestrian shopping street Strøget and Gammel Strand near the canals and is lovingly nicknamed just Strædet, which means strait in Danish. It is nicknamed so because of the fact that is used to be the street running along the old beach and harbour. Today however it is filled with cafes, interesting design stores and antique shops. Visit Gottschalch Antiques in number 13 and Porcelænskælderen in number 11.
