The local tourist agencies have declared to VisitDenmark that the material does not infringe third parties rights but you cannot rely on this in any way. Some material is made available by others, including users of visitdenmark.com, who also have declared that any of their published material does not infringe third parties rights. You can neither rely on this in any way. The material is protected by Danish and International legislation regarding intellectual property rights law and may not be copied or reproduced in any way, without permission from VisitDenmark. Information provided by you

In general, VisitDenmark only collects personal information when you register for a newsletter, sms-service, order brochures or participate in competitions in order to provide you with the service ordered.

The information submitted when you register for a newsletter is used by VisitDenmark to target the advertisements in the newsletter. VisitDenmark does not pass on this information to advertisers or any third party.

By becoming a subscriber you consent to receive from us by e-mail our e-newsletter and details of other special offers which we may think may be of interest to you.

About VisitDenmark and GuideDanmark
VisitDenmark, which is Denmark's national tourism organization, owns the website visitdenmark.com and GuideDanmark. GuideDanmark is a database with recordings of Danish tourism products. GuideDanmark contains detailed information about accommodation, attractions and activities, in total more than 18,000 holiday experiences in Denmark. The information is updated on a current basis by the Danish tourist information offices and VisitDenmark.

The GuideDanmark information is also used on the websites of most of the Danish tourist information offices, and reviews will consequently be readable also on those sites.

Access to enter a review
To upload a review you must state your name and a valid email address. Your contribution will be looked through by an employee of GuideDanmark before it is made available to the public.

Your email address will not be shown, used for marketing purposes or disclosed to any third party, but will only be used to notify you when your contribution has been approved by GuideDanmark and made available online.


Conditions for reviews which you must accept as a user:
To enter a review into GuideDanmark, you must accept the below conditions.

- GuideDanmark may only be used to share your experience of a tourism product. You must have used/experienced the tourism product you write about in person and your contribution must be concerned therewith.

- You may only state your experiences as a visitor. The review must not be used for marketing purposes, neither as publicity for your own firm, a firm you are employed by nor to disparage a tourism product competing with your own firm or a firm you have any other interests in.

- Be as precise as possible and state what you like and what you do not like about the product you are reviewing – that provides the greatest value to other users.

- Do not use this page solely to belittle or unjustifiedly criticize a place or a person or to make specific complaints or ask questions aimed at the business you are reviewing. If you have any reason to complain, you must direct such complaint to the place you wish to complain about.

- Your review must not contain any false or defamatory statements. Likewise, your review must not contain any accusations against a particular person or group of persons, or comments of a blasphemous, racist or offensive nature. The tone of the review must be proper and polite.

- When entering a review, you must not impersonate any other person or misrepresent your identity.

- To enter a review, you must have attained the age of 18 years.

- Your review must not contain any information that could be linked to a specific person.

- Do not use HTML, codes, URLs or CAPITAL LETTERS in your review.


Copyright
You must not copy a text written by any other person into your review. You are, in every respect, personally responsible for clearing all relevant rights, and you are liable for the legality of your contribution to GuideDanmark.


Removal of reviews
All reviews are checked by the tourist information offices or VisitDenmark before they are made available to the public via GuideDanmark. Such checks are made to ensure, in so far as possible, that these conditions are complied with. When a review is made available to the public, the operator of the tourism product will be notified and given the opportunity to comment on the review.

- If any material contributed by you is illegal or in any other way contravenes these conditions, it will be removed without notice. Please note that no copy of the contributed text is saved and that no liability is undertaken in this respect.

- If the material uploaded by you contains viruses or is otherwise likely to harm a third party's legitimate interests etc., it will be removed.

- You are not allowed to enter reviews containing advertisements or to enter reviews that are in any other way used for marketing purposes. Such contributions will also be removed.

- All kinds of offensive material, including contributions with violent or pornographic contents, are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

- Your contributions must not be defamatory, that is, contain any material that is likely to offend any other person. Likewise, any kind of threatening, harassing or otherwise disparaging material is not allowed. Racist contributions will be removed immediately and reported to the police.

- VisitDenmark reserves its rights to remove contributions that are not in compliance with the purpose of the site.


VisitDenmark's liability
- VisitDenmark is neither responsible nor liable for the reviews.

- The user reviews are solely intended for information purposes and not intended to substitute qualified professional advice. VisitDenmark does not accept any direct or indirect liability for any damage or inconvenience resulting from the use of such reviews.

- VisitDenmark's only obligation is to remove a review and your only legitimate claim against VisitDenmark is for the review to be removed. On receipt of a claim for the removal of a review, VisitDenmark will assess whether the review contravenes these conditions, is illegal or there are any other strong reasons necessitating the removal of the review.

- Any dispute arising out of this agreement is governed by Danish law and will be decided by the Copenhagen City Court as court of first instance.
