Every summer, 250 adults and children become Vikings and recreate the most dramatic Viking sagas in their city´s beautiful open-air theatre. See drama, revenge, love, hate and not least sparks flying, as Viking warriors cross swords and fists!
The Viking Play runs from June 21st to July 14th 2013.

Step into the Viking world and be taken back in time to the dramatic sagas of the Viking Age on Denmark's most beautiful open-air stage, where a host of exciting activities await the whole family.
Since 1952, more than 250 adults and children have performed in the annual Viking play, Frederikssund Vikingespil, a play which varies from year to year and recreates the Viking world through Danish sagas of old.
The play is an unforgettable experience for the ENTIRE family with excitement and drama, fighting Viking women and the sparks of crossed swords.
