Perhaps there are not so many who know of our “Hop Store”, but it is on our island, near the town of Harndrup. Here you can see many acres of fabulous gardens and a number of exciting museums. In the house at Humlemagasinet, you will have a very pleasant historical experience, in a cosy atmosphere.
You can start the tour anywhere you like but the route described here starts at the tourist information office at Marielyst. You'll find places to eat in Marielyst, but you can also "refuel" on the way at grocery stores in Væggerløse and Marrebæk.

1st of July 2007 Knuthenlund started the largest conversion to organic farming in Danish history. The number of staff increased from 4 to 22. Now 1800 out of 2400 acres are grown organically and the herd numbers 320 dairy sheep and 125 dairy goats. The former cow shed now houses a farm dairy and visitors can get an imminent look at milking and cheese production.
