In less than three years, Copenhagen will be able to welcome its guests to a brand new, Danish designed congress centre - the “Copenhagen Downtown Congress Centre” - located right in the heart of the city!

In 2010, Copenhagen will be able to welcome its guests to a brand new, Danish designed congress centre, the “Copenhagen Downtown Congress Centre”, located right in the heart of the city! The 75,000 m2 large venue will have a maximum capacity of 4,000 persons, its largest conference room space for up to 2,300 people, and will become the city’s largest congress venue, only surpassed by “big brother” Bella Center, the largest congress centre in all of Scandinavia. The new venue also includes a hotel complex offering 1,300 rooms in different categories and is backed by Danish hotel chain, Arp-Hansen Hotel Group. It is scheduled to open its doors to the public in the second half of 2010, but the first of its three on-site hotels is expected to be up and running by late 2009.
The Arp-Hansen Hotel Group currently owns 1,700 rooms in Copenhagen divided over nine hotel properties. With the new complex the group will underline its position as the city's largest player on the hotel market.
