FRESH meets MEETOVATION at 2012 Conference in Copenhagen

May 2011

Come January 2012 and the first ever FRESH conference, focusing on objective based design and measurement of conference and meetings for better performance will get underway in, sure enough, the innovative Danish capital of Copenhagen!
ExpectFRESH winds blowing through the Meetings Industry and a FRESH start for professional conference and meetings planners, when the Meeting Support Institute (MSI) link up with Denmark’s MEETOVATION Experts to create the first ever FRESH Conference in Copenhagen on 15-17th January 2012.

The FRESH conference, initiated by the MSI with support from VisitDenmark and Wonderful Copenhagen CVB, is expected to attract some 100-150 professional planners, designers, facilitators and suppliers of the content side of meetings and conferences, all of whom can expect FRESH Tools, FRESH Formats, FRESH Science, FRESH People, FRESH Art and FRESH Technology - in a city world-famous for its sustainable living, open-mindedness, great infrastructure and creative designers, chefs and architects...

Learning, Networking and Motivating...
Indeed, the FRESH conference will co-created by the Meeting architecture community and the inspiring Danish MEETOVATION concept.

Anja Hartung Sfyrla, International Marketing Manager – Business Tourism for VisitDenmark, explains:

In recent years both VisitDenmark and MSI have focused on developing and promoting creative tools and services that can produce business events with a better return on meetings investment, but Denmark is probably the only destination yet to actually have “educated Meetovators” on the shelf! Therefore we thought it only natural to link up with the MSI and to launch the first of hopefully many future FRESH Conferences in Copenhagen.

Based on our very dynamic local partners; Wonderful Copenhagen CVB, local hoteliers and venues, DMCs, etc., our destination already offers a sizeable number of educated “Meetovators” all of whom are 100 % ready to assist professional meeting planners with creating successful and motivating meetings,” Ms. Hartung Sfyrla continues.

Maarten Vanneste, CMM and President of Meeting Support Institute, adds:

Conferences and meetings should engage participants to DO something. They need to be exciting, clear, interactive, innovative and high quality and most of all, based on clear and measurable objectives. Thanks to the fruitful cooperation with VisitDenmark and Wonderful Copenhagen and their recognized Danish MEETOVATION concept, it was quite evident that Copenhagen was the right destination for launching our first international FRESH Conference, and we really look forward to the event getting underway in less than a year!
