Alcune spiagge consentono l'ingresso delle auto, ad esempio su Fanø e tra Rødhus e Løkken sulla costa ovest dello Jutland. Qui potete parcheggiare sulla spiaggia mentre trascorrete il tempo al mare, ma non potete pernottare.
Non create intralcio sulle strade e i sentieri che portano al mare, è infatti interesse di tutti che le ambulanze e i mezzi di soccorso possano giungere senza problemi.
Quando vi inerpicate sulle scogliere, utilizzate i sentieri segnalati, costruiti per non rovinare la vegetazione.
I cani devono essere tenuti al guinzaglio.
Leggete sempre i cartelli con le regole e i divieti.
Nudismo
Presso le spiagge danesi è quasi sempre possibile fare il bagno nudi; ai nudisti, naturalmente, si chiede di mostrare considerazione per gli altri bagnanti.
Il naturismo è vietato solo presso alcune spiagge e questa proibizione è indicata su appositi cartelli.
Nell'area metropolitana di Copenaghen, Bellevue Beach ha una parte riservata ai nudisti. È comunque vietato passeggiare in costume adamitico, mentre non lo è nuotare o prendere il sole.

All waterscooter traffic is under a general prohibition within the Danish sea territory. The County Councils may however allow waterscooter sailing, though they cannot go against the EU bird protection areas, where all waterscooter sailing is prohibited. At present, waterscooters are allowed in the waters surveyed by Århus, North Jutland and Ribe councils.
Outside of these areas, you are advised to contact the police of the area where you are staying to inquire about possible waterscooter sailing.
Surfers must respect nature reserves. Surfing is rarely banned, but you must respect the rules or restrictions that apply in the area.
Even though windsurfing does not pollute or cause noise, some animals and birds may get alarmed or distressed if you approach. Especially during the nesting season, but in some places all year round, it has been necessary to regulate or ban windsurfing in fjords, coves or bays that are popular nesting grounds.
