Begtrup Cove and Beach
Begstrup Vig (Cove), located by Mols in Djursland, is home to one of the region's most child-friendly beaches - Begstrup Strand. With Helgenæs to the south and east and the small island of Rønnen to the north, the beach is surrounded by scenic surroundings.
A beach - enclosed and protected
At low tide, small islands form that become fun play areas for the little ones. The beach faces south and the sun, which provides good protection from waves except in S winds. On warm days, the beach attracts many visitors, but there is also plenty of opportunity to find playmates for the kids.
The inner flat water heats up quickly and can reach bathtub temperature on calm summer days. However, it can be a challenge to find a car park that doesn't interfere with the local holiday home area. Consider cycling to the beach to avoid parking hassles.
