Gedser Water Tower

Gedser's beautiful yellow water tower offers a stunning view of Denmark's southernmost city. Here you can enjoy the view of green fields and the sun glistening in the Baltic Sea.

Welcome to Gedser Water Tower, the country's southernmost water tower, which offers a magnificent view of Denmark's southern tip, Gedser town, the ferry harbour, the marina and the surrounding area and nature. Gedser Water Tower is the town's historic landmark and has stood here since 1912, but no longer stores water. Today, visitors can come and enjoy the impressive panoramic view, and there are plenty of options if you wish to capture the moment with great photo opportunities.

The water tower is usually open to visitors during the summer and by appointment during the rest of the year - keep an eye on our Facebook page.
