Grenaa Beach

The perfect place for the family to enjoy a picnic. In summer there is a rescue tower with lifeguards on the beach.

One of Denmark's best beaches

The beach lies south of Grenaa Harbour and is actually two beaches separated by Polderrevet, which is a very popular fishing spot with garfish and trout. The beach closest to the harbour has summerhouses amongst the dunes and is a very child friendly beach with shallow water and the finest sand.Throughout the summer you can use the volleyball court or participate in many activities.

Further south, with stunning views towards Havknuden, lies the beach which is considered to be Denmark's second best. The beach has a viewing platform and a ramp down to the sea which is suitable for people with disabilities. The perfect place for the family to enjoy a picnic. In summer there is a rescue tower with lifeguards on the beach.

If you continue along the beach for about a mile, you will find a beautiful secluded beach.

Grenaa beach is well worth a visit all year.
