Hammerhavnens Bådfart

Right south of Hammerknuden you find the special Hammer Harbour, which originally was a place of call for Hammershus. The harbour was established in 1891 to disembark granite from the Hammer Works and it served as this until 1974. There are only a few houses at the harbour, a small beach and a boat bridge from where you can take the small boats of Hammerhavnens Bådfart on exciting trips along the rocky coast at the foot of Hammershus. If the sea is quiet you sail into the narrow rock cave, Våde Ovn.
