Højslev Church

The church building is very tall and for many years the church tower functioned as a marker for the ships to take compass bearing by on their way in and out of Skive Harbour. The original church consisted of a Romanesque nave, chancel and apse. It was built of ashlar.
The church was parish church for the owners of the nearby manor house Stårupgård, which has also affected the church as the noble owners' coat of arms decorate the walls.
