Horsens Marina

At the end of Horsens Fjord and quite close to city centre of Horsens lies this fine marina with good facilities for sailors. Here you can enjoy a cosy sailing vacation while also having easy access to the city's attractions and urban life.

The perfect setting for the sailing holiday in the Kattegat

If you're sailing in the Kattegat around the East Jutland Archipelago, you should treat yourself to the seven nautical mile trip through the beautiful Horsens Fjord to the cultural city of Horsens. The fjord and harbour provide the backdrop for one of the city's most charming areas, close to the water and lively maritime surroundings. The city marina offers good, modern facilities and excellent opportunities for activities – both at the harbour and in the nearby centre.

The marina features a newer service dock and a service building with bathing, toilet, and laundry facilities. There is also a playground, a crab bridge, and even a play ferry for the young at heart. You can freely use the large covered grill with plenty of space for relaxation.

The marina generally benefits from its proximity to the city, and the city's residents enjoy coming to the area and taking walks in the maritime surroundings. Next to the marina is the city beach, Langelinie, with a beautiful, long bathing bridge and plenty of activities in the summer.

The harbour in Horsens is undergoing a major transformation into a modern residential and recreational space with lovely paths along the water. You can take a walk in the area and soak up the atmosphere.

Sail right into the city

In the inner harbour, the marina has established 20 guest berths, allowing you to come right into the city center. There are toilets and showers at the berths in the inner harbor.

The marina's restaurant

Right down by the quay is the lovely Restaurant Pynten, offering a fantastic view both indoors and on the large outdoor terrace. Here, you can enjoy a luxurious "stjerneskud" (fish dish) with a cold beer or other classic à la carte dishes. You're also welcome to drop by for a cup of coffee, a drink, or perhaps an ice cream at the outdoor ice cream parlour.

Explore Horsens

Horsens' shopping centre is a short walk from the marina. On Denmark's widest pedestrian street, you'll find many eateries and beautiful old buildings. Near the harbour are the Horsens Art Museum, the Industrial Museum, and the Horsens Museum. You can purchase a museum pass and gain access to four museums in Horsens at a favorable price.

At the marina, you can borrow a bike and explore the city and the surrounding nature.
