Nysted Water Tower

Enjoy the view from the beautifully restored water tower in Nysted, where you'll find changing exhibitions.

Nysted Water Tower was built in 1912 and stored water for both Nysted Town and the neighbouring farms. Water was important for the books, horticulture and farmers in southern Lolland.

The water tower was restored in 2009 and is now used as a focal point in the town. In addition to the excellent views of the area, you'll also find changing exhibitions and events.

It is typically open on weekends during the summer, but check the website for exact times and other practical information.
