Selsø Sø

 (The Selsø Lake)

A large, 500-hectare conservation area which is only accessible by foot and which is best viewed from Selsø Church and from the birdwatching tower near Møllekrogen.The land which fringes the lake is amongst the best in Denmark for waterfowl. Several species of coot, lapwing, redshank and common snipe breed here and large flocks of tufted duck and coot can be seen here in the winter.
