A very beautiful and isolated church situated on the slope of a hill down towards Sneum River in the Wadden Sea National Park.

Sneum Church is a very beautiful and isolated church situated on the slope of a hill down towards Sneum River in the Wadden Sea National Park. Built around 1150-1200. To a considerable degree, the building materials were tuff stone from the Rhine region transported to the area along the Sneum River. The only tuff stone church in the area which was later extended with arches. The church interior is simple, bright and peaceful.
