Moesgård Museum
Moesgård Museum is closed to visitors due to the establishment of a new museum building which will open to the public in the fall of 2014.
Exhibitions
Many of the exhibitions can still be viewed at the Viking Museum in the centre of Aarhus. Odder Museum south of the city is also a part of Moesgård Museum.
The Viking Museum
The Viking Museumis a window to the Viking town of Aros. Some 1200 years ago the Vikings founded Aarhus – at the very same spot and level where The Viking Museum is situated in the basement underneath the Nordea Bank in the 'Skt. Clemens Torv' Square.
With the opening of the refurbished Viking Museum in 2008, Moesgård Museum presents a range of artefacts which have not seen the light of day for a thousand years.
