For nine days straight Images Festival will stop traffic at Dronning Louise's Bro and you are invited! Immerse yourself in music, art and culture en masse.
Dronning Louise's Bro in Copenhagen will be transformed into a dance floor when Images Festival kicks off August 30 at 17:00 and continues the following eight days.
347 artists from 44 countries have contributed to the festival, and you can learn more about life and art in parts of the world that we rarely hear about. The festival aims to create room for reflection, dialogue and of course parties.
Music and film
For musical entertainment you can look forward to everything from Afro-pop and Arabic music to rap and hip hop. For example, you can ride on the South American wave when Bomba Estéreo makes the bridge swing.
The festival also features various kinds of film. Among other films, you can watch a documentary about a former child soldier from Sudan.
Art and communication
Images Fesitval also gives you the opportunity to experience a poetic marathon as well as various debates. Furthermore, there will be artist talks, workshops, city walks and much more.
You can also treat your eyes with Nepalese contemporary art, film poster art, street art, etc.
Almost all events during Images Festival will be free.
