Benefit from one or several of the sightseeing cards mentioned below which offer reduced or free entrance to the sights and attractions of the town or region - some of them even offer free bus and train rides and reduced prices at restaurants and hotels!
Copenhagen Card gives free admission to more than 60 places of interest within the greater Copenhagen area as well as unlimited travel on the Danish State Railways (DSB), buses in Copenhagen and surroundings, (including North Sealand, Roskilde and Køge) and metro trains and a discount on the admission price for a further 20 attractions. The card comes in two versions, one valid for 72 hours, and the other valid for 24 hours. 72 hours, adult: DKK 429,00. Children (up to and including 10 - 15 years): DKK 249,00 24 hours, adults: DKK 199,00. Children (up to and including 10 - 15 years): DKK 129,00 Two children under 10 years of age have free admittance to museums, which normally offer free admittance to holders of the Copenhagen Card, prodvided the children are accompanied by an adult holding the Copenhagen Card. The cards are obtainable from major railway stations, travel agencies, major tourist information offices, the Service Information at Copenhagen Airport, the Hotel Booking Office in Copenhagen, as well as at most hotels, youth hostels and camping sites in Metropolitan Copenhagen. Culture Card Kolding gives free admission to the four major sights in Kolding: Koldinghus Castle and Art Museum Trapholt, as well as offers reductions when visiting the Geographical Garden and the Museum of Danish Nursing History. The card is obtainable at the local tourist office Kolding Turistbureau and at the tourist information at the Kolding Storcenter, as well as at the two first-mentioned sights. The ÅrhusCard is a tourist and traffic card which offers free admittance to 20 museums in Aarhus, 30% reduction on the admission to the Old Town Museum, free parking at the Skolebakken Car Park, price reduction when crossing the Great Belt Bridge as well as free transportation by city bus in the 4 city zones. With this discount card you are offered free admission to 14 attractions, free rides on local trains and busses, free parking in the Kennedy Arkaden, and reductions to a number of the shops in the city.
The card comes in two variations: 24 hours and 72 hours. The 24-hours card costs: DKK 179 for adults DKK 89 for children
The 72-hours card costs: DKK 299 for adults DKK 149 for children.
The card is for sale at the bus stations of the Nordjyllands Trafikselskaber, in selected places of accommodation and attractions, and in the tourist offices of the region.
With Midt-Pas you can experience more than 20 sights, attractions and activities in the Mid-Jutland area, viz. Herning and Ikast-Brande. The card entitles you to free admission to all museums in the area, and to Jyllands Park Zoo, Ikast Aqua Dome, and the Lille Malund Garden. The card is available from the tourist offices in the area, for the duration of either 24 or 48 hours. The card costs DKK 80 for 24 hours and DKK 90 for 48 hours (adults). The Ribe Passport offers reduction to a number of attractions and activities in Ribe. For instance 20% reduction in the admission to attractions such as Ribes Vikinger, VikingeCentret, the Cathedral, the Art Museum, the Vadehavscentre and the bus to Mandø. Also a number of extra benefits in restaurants and activities which have joined the passport. The passport is valid for 11 days, and costs DKK 20 for adults and DKK 10 for children (3-14 years).
