De genoemde rederij, die een groot aantal belangrijke veerdiensten onderhoudt, heeft een andere definitie voor campers opgesteld. Deze houdt in dat voor campers die meer dan 3.500 kg wegen niet meer dezelfde prijs betaald hoeft te worden als voor een bus of vrachtwagen. Hierdoor wordt het voor een flink aantal camperbezitters goedkoper om overtochten in Denemarken te maken.
