    With this concept, organisers narrow in on health issues in the workplace. The day is intended as a kick-off event for a new and healthier approach. Emphasis is given to diet, exercise and the physical setup of the workplace. Through exercises in the health centre, participants are encouraged to change their ways and lead a healthier working life resulting in more energy, higher productivity and less illness. Process Before the event, a consultant from the conference venue will help define the objectives of the meeting and their impact on the workplace.

    The Danish Foreign Ministry, responsible for the organization of the 2012 European Union Presidency, today announced the compliance of their event management system against the new ISO 20121 standard for sustainable event management. Externally verified by the global certification company SGS, this is the world’s first ISO20121 certification of a large international government event. The Ministry’s event management system covers the logistical organisation of 110 meetings, attracting 15000 attendees at three venues between January and June, 2012.
