    In 1960, legendary Danish designer Arne Jacobsen created the world’s first design hotel, now called the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Copenhagen. The hotel’s most popular room remains the iconic Room 606 kept exactly as originally designed. Now, the renowned hotel pays tribute to its creator by re-designing Room 506 together with Spanish designer, Jaime Hayon.

The largest hotel in all Scandinavia opened its doors this year in Copenhagen bringing the total room capacity of Copenhagen to around 18,000. New features and innovations at Copenhagen’s hotels include a snore absorption room, a ladies-only floor, “brain food” for meeting participants, and much more.

    The Danish Meetovation concept and training programme was launched in early 2010 and today, the constantly evolving concept and course is targeting hotel and conference centre staff as well as corporate and association meeting planners.

    With this concept, organisers narrow in on health issues in the workplace. The day is intended as a kick-off event for a new and healthier approach. Emphasis is given to diet, exercise and the physical setup of the workplace. Through exercises in the health centre, participants are encouraged to change their ways and lead a healthier working life resulting in more energy, higher productivity and less illness. Process Before the event, a consultant from the conference venue will help define the objectives of the meeting and their impact on the workplace.
