The Denmark MINDchallenge 2013 is ready for kick off!

The ‘New Nordic Cuisine’ and the Copenhagen restaurant scene are sizzling hot. When food festival Copenhagen Cooking takes place from 23 August to 1 September, you can get a taste of what it's all about. The city’s gastronomic players welcome you to a tasting experience you will not forget.

And the winner is…

The new 2012 edition of the Michelin Guide has awarded Copenhagen’s restaurants a total of 14 stars. Not only is that more than any other Scandinavian city, it is also more than other European cities such as Hamburg, Amsterdam and Vienna, Copenhagen also has more Michelin restaurants than Rome. This means that Copenhagen forces it’s position as the gastronomy capital of the North.

Copenhagen is a fantastic city for a short break. It is relatively small with excellent public transport links, so you can cover most of the attractions and diverse neighbourhoods of the capital over a weekend. Here's a guide to getting the most out of 48 hours in Copenhagen.
