Kick-off time at VisitDenmark: Another action packed year

It's another action packed year for VisitDenmark’s Conference & Incentive Department and its Danish partners. This year VisitDenmark, Wonderful Copenhagen and several Danish meeting professionals are busy launching a string of new activities…
|
These include:
- A brand new campaign promoting Copenhagen and the Øresund region with four unusual themes; “Conquer & Conquered”, “Wet & Wild”, “18 Holes & 7 courses” and “Fairytales & Tall Stories”. The campaign is launched at International Confex 2008 and includes four different suggestions for an extraordinary itinerary whether staging a meeting, conference or other event in Copenhagen and the Øresund region. The campaign is supported by four educational trips to the destination throughout 2008.
- A new brochure with detailed information on all partners of VisitDenmark and Wonderful Copenhagen that are active on the market (launched at International Confex 2008).
- Two social events - one in Reading on 20-21 June and one near Oxford on 8-9 August – with the aim of meeting up with relevant Meeting

professionals under more informal circumstances, share a good story, some good wine, etc. while we try to identify what this Danish thing about “hygge” (having a nice time) is all about. Join us to find out!
In 2008, VisitDenmark’s partners from the “Meetingplace Wonderful Copenhagen Network” are: Arp-Hansen Hotel Group, Choice Hotels, Hotel Skt Petri/First Hotel Vesterbro, Hilton Copenhagen Airport, Marriott Hotel Copenhagen, Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, Scandic Hotels and the Bella Center (congress centre), as well as incoming agents: DMC, Made2Measure, NHG, and Nordic Incentives. Other partners include: Hotel Opus Horsens, Scandinavian Image, and the local tourism organisation VisitVejle in Jutland.
