Wild Vikings & Fair Ladies

Denmark is the world’s oldest monarchy, and the royal residence in central Copenhagen adds a fairy tale touch to the city. Although the Oresund region now encompasses two countries, this was not always the case. Until 1658 Scania (now Skaane) belonged to Denmark. The region was known for its Vikings, who despite their reputation did not just raid and plunder. The Vikings were also skilled merchants and farmers. There are several old Viking towns scattered around the Oresund Region, including Frederiksssund, Roskilde, Foteviken and Trelleborg.

All this gives you plenty of opportunities to access your inner Viking in the region. Read more about the activities and how this makes up the perfect itinerary for an incentive trip - and be inspired on how to put together your own Viking trip to the Öresund region.
