The festival takes place both indoors in clubs and venues and even more music can be heard outdoors, where scenic places such as parks and squares are transformed into jazz venues! Every summer since 1957 the world’s oldest amusement park, Bakken, has been invaded by Santas from around the world, gathering to spread good Christmas cheer, have fun and socialise with their peers. Apart from parading, the Santas go to the beach for their annual beach paddle. The
World Santa Claus Congress will name the Santa of the Year and discuss Santa’s homeland, presents, reindeer and other work conditions. Summer-Christmas is happening 18-20 July.
