Copenhagen is rich in cultural events throughout the year, but during summer, the city is literally packed with festivals of all sorts, including the ones mentioned below.

Copenhagen Distortion– 1-5 June
Each year in June the party is on the streets of Copenhagen. Distortion is a leading force within Copenhagen's party, street, fashion and music scene. Its a five-day & night mobile feast, where local and international icons of street & club culture are invited to host one party each. The result is Copenhagen's most vibrant and impulsive street- & nightlife festival ever!

The Roskilde Festival - 30 June -3 July
The trademark of the Roskilde Festival is unpredictability, progressiveness and experimentation. Northern Europe's largest rock festival is innovative and unique, and presents young talents of today and tomorrow.
Copenhagen and all that Jazz… 1–10 July
Welcome to the annual international Copenhagen Jazz Festival (CJF) in early July. Shifting freely from happy New Orleans jazz to cutting-edge jazz-electronica, the 10-day-long CJF offers nearly 100 concerts daily, taking place just about anywhere; from small dusty venues to parks, pedestrian areas, boats or jazz-institutions, featuring anything from local hard-core experimentalists to international legends.

Copenhagen Jazz Festival
Trailerpark Festival, 28 - 31 July
A three-day music and arts festival organized and produced by the creative collective Artrebels. A perfect blend of music, art, creativity and Love. Proceeds go to the non-profit organization HeartRebels.

STRØM Festival - 13–20 August
STRØM is the Danish word for "Electricity". This fairly new festival in Copenhagen focusing on the electronic scene in the city in- and outdoor and at different clubs all night long...

Copenhagen Cooking - 19-28 August
A hugely popular and rather new food festival focusing on Nordic specialities taking place all over the city. It's a must for foodies with an interest in the Danish cuisine.
