• Midnight Sun & Northern Lights: Northern lights appear all the year round but can only be observed against a clear night sky. In South Greenland the phenomenon can be observed from the end of August. The midnight sun is experienced north of the Polar Circle. Depending of how northwards you are, the earlier and the longer you can see the Midnight Sun. In the Disko Bay you will find midnight sun from approx. May 20th to July 25th.
