How to get there

You can reach Greenland by plane or by sea eg. with Hurtigruten

There are two international airports offering services in Greenland:
Kangerlussuaq (Sondrestrom) in West Greenland, which is served by Air Greenland and SAS from Copenhagen.
Narsarsuaq in Southern Greenland which is served by Air Greenland from Copenhagen and by Air Iceland from Iceland.

Two Great places to explore in Greenland





Kangerlussuaq
The area lies at the base of a 100-mile long fjord of the same name. the area offers musk ox safari, a great view out over the huge ice sheet and the warm dry summers and cold clear winter days are perfect for dogsled trips and not least for experiencing the northern lights.

Narsarsuaq
Which means “the great plain”, the mountains that surround the area are up to 1,640 feet high, an here but you can enjoy the breath-taking view of the ice sheet’s glaciers. The area also offers a sailing trip to the Qooroq Fjord, where it is possible to sail close to the glacier that produces large icebergs.
