Christmas in Aalborg starts 24 November when Santa Claus arrives from Greenland by boat to Honnorkajen at 11am.

After this event, activities for the whole family continue everyday until Christmas Eve.

At The Old Square you can enjoy the Christmas Market with cosy stalls and tents with local specialities like æbleskiver, pepper cookies, Glög - hot mulled red wine - and even Greenlandic ice! Santa's helpers are everywhere to help Santa Claus create that special magical Christmas atmosphere. Children can visit Santa Claus and try the entertaining horse carousel.
